It originates from Paraguay. Due to high temperatures in this country, it’s the most popular form of consumption of yerba mate. Terere tastes best when served with so-called yuyos, special blends of fruits, herbs and spices. It’s not easy to get yuyos outside Paraguay. That’s why we created Verde Mate Terere which contains a mix of those ingredients!
